The Brennan Family has mastered the art of the classic New England clambake.

In 1972, Bob and Joanne Brennan, then Massachusetts schoolteachers, began preparing lobster clambakes for family and friends along the coast of Gloucester. Lobsters fresh from the docks . . . succulent  steamers soaked, fed and cleansed. native corn and potatoes from Boston’s famous Haymarket Square . . . and Bob’s award winning “clam chowdah” . . . led to requests from family, friends and neighbors for their signature New England Clambake!

Bob and Joanne went on to spend 25 years in catering and event planning. The Brennans soon discovered the tranquil beauty and “down home” lifestyle of the New Hampshire Lakes Region . . . along with an entire new group of friends and clients hungry for their classic New England clambakes!

Today, Mountain Lake Clambake crews bring the delicious taste of fresh native seafood and the warmth of the clambake experience to gatherings of family and friends, weddings and rehearsal dinners, corporate events and countless other special occasions.
